Review concise answers to the questions we receive most often about products, brands and project processes.
In our factories, the use of softwoods such as spruce and pine is considerably higher than that of other tree species.
The timber we use is sourced from sustainable forests cultivated for industrial purposes. The wider use of ecological, carbon-storing timber structures also means the expansion of industrial forests established for this purpose.
Thermowood is the registered name for thermally modified timber. Not every heat-treatment process is a Thermowood process. It is the thermal modification of species such as pine, ash, iroko and ayous using special techniques that comply with the original Thermowood method.
