  • Garden walls and screens

Where it is not used

  • Load-bearing members Thermal modification reduces strength. Use glulam for beams and posts.

  • Unventilated installation Without ventilation behind and below, its life is shortened.
  • Galvanised or black screws The acids in the wood leave stains; stainless steel screws are used.

Questions we hear on site

Do I have to paint it?

No. Left untreated it weathers to silver grey; it does not rot. To keep the colour, use a UV-protective oil; how often depends on the sun exposure.

Screws or clips?

Visible screws are quicker and more economical. Clips hide the fixings for a clean surface. Both use stainless screws, with pre-drilled holes at board ends.

What batten spacing should I use?

It depends on the profile thickness and direction; the material calculator offers 400, 500 and 600 mm. We confirm the spacing for your project with the quotation. Always leave a ventilation gap behind.

Can it go down to the ground?

No. It must not touch the ground or soil; finish it above ground level so it is ventilated from below.

Is it in stock and how fast can you deliver?

We confirm stock of standard sizes and the delivery time with the quotation, based on your quantities.
