OUR STORY

  • While our company was operating in Central Anatolia in the field of reed and thatch products, the growth of tourism in the 1990s led us to establish NASREDDİN HASIR DEKORASYON in 1996 and turn our direction toward Antalya, the pearl of the Mediterranean. Although thatch was already widely used abroad, its spread in Turkey accelerated with the influence of Far Eastern architecture in holiday villages and hotel projects. By continuously renewing both our product range and application technologies in line with global developments, we maintained our leadership in the sector. In response to customer demand, we established NASREDDİN ORMAN ÜRÜNLERİ in 2005 and entered Antalya’s timber sector with the city’s first sales of ready-to-use impregnated wood products, impregnation facilities and our timber sales store. As demand grew, our first major industrial investment followed in 2008, when we established an integrated timber facility in Serik, Antalya, on a 5,000 m² site with 3,000 m² of covered machinery area, producing laminated beams. With a strong technical team and production technology, we became both manufacturer and applicator for major tourism investment projects. We successfully raised our customer-satisfaction-driven policy to a higher level and began becoming a project partner not only in Antalya but also on important projects throughout Turkey and abroad. Continuing to expand its investments, our company has become a pioneer in production infrastructure and continues its work successfully.

By maintaining our leadership through innovative technologies and designs, we aim to be a preferred business partner both in Turkey and abroad through the products and services we provide for major projects such as tourism facilities, hotels and holiday villages.

Seeing timber as a priority building material of the future, Naswood is one of Turkey’s leading and one of the world’s notable companies in the timber sector, supported by its production infrastructure, advanced technology, high quality standards and strong investments. Naswood entered the sector in 1990 with the production of reed and thatch products and today successfully continues the production of timber building components across a total area of 49,000 m², including 31,000 m² of enclosed space, at its modern wood production facilities in Muğla, Antalya and Ukraine. Naswood is a certified official Thermowood producer of the International ThermoWood Association and successfully manufactures Thermowood timber products. It is also a sector leader in laminated timber production, manufacturing straight, curved and variable-section elements up to 45 m in length and 3.3 m in height. As standard products or according to project requirements, it also successfully manufactures CLT panels, columns, beams, solid wood panels, façade and outdoor decking products, wooden windows, door stiles and wooden houses. In addition to production, Naswood has successfully delivered numerous turnkey projects in Turkey and abroad with its distinguished timber engineers, architects, production and installation teams, including hotels, shopping centers, public institutions, complete building projects, interior and exterior façade and flooring works, and artistic projects. Naswood takes justified pride in being able to manage every stage of timber—from the log to its integration into living spaces—within its own organization.
